New Leader Orientations provides newly onboarded troop leaders with a face-to-face connection to Girl Scouts and the people who will assist them along the way! During the orientation, support staff will review the resources available to troop leaders, ensure leaders have the information they need to get through the first few meetings with their troop, and provide a space for leaders to ask questions now that they have completed onboarding!
All newly onboarded troop leaders are welcome to attend this staff-facilitated orientation, though troop leaders in service units with service teams can attend a service team-facilitated orientation! If your service unit does not have a service team and is staff-supported, please attend a staff-facilitated orientation!
A Zoom meeting link will be sent the morning of the training. If possible, please connect using a device with a camera.

This workshop takes place online. Be sure to complete the Girl
Scout Internet Safety Pledge before you start.

device with a camera is preferable is possible.
Adult Training Requirements
Trainings that at least one adult volunteer for each Girl Scout
troop/group must have: New Leader Onboarding.

GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. Registrants will be notified if GSOSW cancels an event.
